A downloadable game for Windows

This was our final project for DIGM 350 as sophomore undergraduates. (Summer 2023) The assignment was to adapt an existing linear story into an interactive format in 10 weeks. We were encouraged to think through all game design decisions to maintain the type of relationship between interaction and narrative that our game was trying to create. 


Braden - I worked on game functionality such as the player controller, item pickups, scene/level transitions, and the dialogue system. I found it a fun challenge to implement functionality with story taking precedent over gameplay, and had to think in a way I wasn't used to. I also handled implementing art and assets made by my other team members.

Gregory - I was the main creative vision behind the project, pitching the concept, designing a flowchart for game progression, plotting out each option the player could take, and how the characters interacted with each other. I offered direction for the character designs and the world at large, including concept art for several of the characters.
